After completing my month of drawing in February, I leapt straight into #marchmeetthemaker. For those of you that have not heard of this challenge it was organised by illustrator Joanne Hawker and was a list of prompts to be used on instagram and other social media to help your followers get to know you.
I found it hard as I always like to hide behind the camera and just show pictures of my work but I was brave and put my face on my instagram account 3 times! Some days were harder than others and below are some of the images I used for the challenge.
I would highly recomend completing a challenge like this. It is also lots of fun and helps your followers understand a bit more about what goes on behind the scenes to create your work. I really enjoyed seeing how others interpreted the subject each day and discovered some amazing work that other artists and crafters are making. I would like to say a big thank you to Joanne for organising it and working out what the subject would be every day. Next time I will be showing you how I printed my next lino prints; ‘A Stroll in the Woods’ and ‘Spring Stroll’ both available in my Etsy shop.
